Over 15 years working as an Electrician, makes Marco a specialist in various areas related to electricity.

The trade

From electrical panels to housing installations, buildings and factory maintenance, electricity, telecommunications and fiber optics. The profession of electrician always entails risky and dangerous processes, with constant exposure to hazards and challenges. So before any intervention, great care and prevention is required.

The difficulties of the trade

The danger of electric shock is constant. Even with precaution, the energy is always present and so is the risk. Measuring is essential to make sure there is no power.

Marco has experienced first-hand the accidents of colleagues, and he himself has experienced some electric shocks. He also told us about one of the accidents that he considers to be the most serious that has happened to him.

‘when opening the frame, simply by removing the covers of the frame, a cable that wasn’t tightened properly from behind, I was thrown backwards, I had burns, they weren’t serious.’

Fortunately, in this situation Marco was properly protected, which minimised his injuries.

The importance of safety

Marco can’t be too careful. Safety is a key element in his work and is never neglected.

‘the aim is to end every day uninjured, whole and getting home.’

What makes Marco different

His big motivation is his family. He knows that wearing safety equipment is essential, and that with it, he will get home safe after a day’s work.

Respect, honesty and humility are his main values, which he makes a point of passing on to his children and the team.
